Ito ay matapos kanselahin ng local license holder ng Miss Universe New Zealand ang kanilang prangkisa dahil hindi sila nakasunod sa hindi tinukoy na order mula sa Miss Universe Organization (MUO).
Sa Instagram kahapon, July 30, 2024, naglabas ng opisyal na pahayag ang Yugen PR upang ipaalam sa publiko ang kanilang naging desisyon.
Buong pahayag nila, "As a result of our team's non-compliance with a specific order from the Miss Universe Organization, we have decided to cancel the franchise held by Yugen PR for Miss Universe New Zealand for 2024."
Pirmado ito ni Ian Borromeo, Managing Director ng House of Yugen.
Ibig sabihin nito, hindi na rin matutuloy ang pakikipagkumpitensiya ni Franki, bilang kinatawan ng New Zealand, sa Miss Universe 2024.

"As the saying goes: “everything happens for a reason”. and has lead me to this new role."
