Miss International 2023 Andrea Rubio met with the Philippine media earlier today, July 5, 2024, at ibis Styles Hotel, Cubao.

The beauty queen from Venezuela will be part of the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night that will take place this Sunday, July 7, at the Araneta Coliseum.
At the presscon, Andrea commended Nicole Borromeo who competed against her during the Miss International competition held last October 2023 in Japan.
Nicole is the only Philippine delegate to achieve a third-runner-up finish in Miss International's history.
"She was a really strong competitor when we were together," Andrea said about Nicole.
"She was extra well prepared. She was always on time.
"She always had a good smile on her face and willing to help other girls."
After her reign, Andrea hinted at the possibility of her joining showbiz.
"After my reign, I see myself still working with my communication skills. I love communication. I love audiovisual. I love social media. It's my biggest passion.
"I feel proud of it. I feel really proud of it.
"I would love to be in television. I would love to be part on television, working on hosting a TV show or maybe doing ny own TV show.
"I just expect the best and work hard for it."
When PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Andrea if she is willing to accept hosting jobs or do a TV show in the Philippines, she quickly answered, "Yes, [I am] open, absolutely! I would love it."

ANDREA RUBIO FIRST VISIT IN MANILA
Talking about her first visit to the Philippine capital, Andrea related that she sees a lot of similarities with Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.
"I love Manila," she gushed.
"The weather is similar to Caracas. My hair starts to grow every single hour. It's really hot but I'm used to it.
"I really like it. It's really crowded and a lot of traffic."
Continuing, "Definitely, we have a lot of things in common... motorcycles everywhere. We also have that a lot.
"And [the] people, they're not so quiet. You're loud. In Venezuela, we're also very loud.
"When you're in another country, [people tell you], 'Shhh.' 'I'm sorry, this is just the way I speak.' You're very similar."

ANDREA ON FAVORITE FILIPINO DISH AND WEARING A TERNO
Has she tried any Pinoy delicacies here in the country? What is her favorite so far?
Andrea replied, "Definitely, I have no doubts—adobo, chicken adobo. I tried the lamb adobo but my favorite is the chicken adobo. So delicious."
When asked to comment about the Philippine terno that she was wearing today, she disclosed, "I love it! I really wanted to wear something like this—butterfly sleeves.
"I love this color. I've never used it before. I'm really honored and happy to use this."
