Actress Candy Pangilinan couldn't contain her excitement as she saw South Korean superstar Kim Soo Hyun up close.
Along with her Road Trip co-stars Carmina Villarroel and Janice de Belen, Candy attended Soo Hyun's "Eyes On You" fan meet last Saturday night, June 29, 2024.
The sold-out event, organized by Wilbros Live, was held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Candy shared her experience through an Instagram Reels video after the event.
The video captured some of the event's best moments, including Kim Soo Hyun's captivating performancesand his amusing attempts at Filipino slang, saying "charot" and "eme lang."
CANDY ADMIRES KOREAN SUPERSTAR'S HUMILITY
In her caption, Candy expressed her admiration for the Korean actor, highlighting his humility in acknowledging his occasional off-key moments during performances and his close connection with his fans.
Candy wrote, published as is: "A road trip to see KIM SOO HYUN. I watched almost all his series from Dream High to Queen of Tears.
"I admire that he learned Tagalog words and sang English songs. He sings better with his comfortable language and genre.
"I applaud his humility and honesty that he mentioned he was out of tune due to the screaming he couldn’t hear his voice.
"Still he knows he wasn’t in tune. Honesty is the best way to your audience heart.
"You got me there and way before that. Hihihi. He is a good actor. No question to that.
"He is also good with his fans. I am still waiting for your proposal. Hahahaha! #kimsoohyun"
CANDY THANKS MAVY FOR VIP TICKETS
In a separate post, Candy expressed her gratitude to Carmina's son, Mavy Legaspi, for treating them to VIP tickets for Soo Hyun's fan meet.
She wrote, "Thank you inaanak @mavylegaspi for treating us with tickets for Kim soo hyun concert. We are so happy."
