At nabinyagan nga siya sa pag-arte sa pamamagitan ng pelikulang G! LU noong taong 2019.
Lagpas limang taon ang hinintay ng cast ng G! LU bago ito maipalabas sa mga sinehan.
Kuwento ni Katarina, "So, I've been waiting talaga for this movie to come out for almost five years na po.
"So, sobrang excited ako na now is the time.
"And as I kept saying, everything happens for a reason.
"And ito talaga yung perfect timing kasi lahat kami parang umakyat kami sa buhay over the last five years, and I think this is the perfect time because ang daming supporters namin lahat.
"So, hopefully, this would be a weekend summer movie."
Nag-iba na ba ang acting technique niya dahil may limang taon na rin ang nagdaan mula nang siya ay sumabak sa pag-arte?
Aniya, "I think now kasi na I'm a mom, yung mga intentions ko at yung mga goals ko are very focused.
"And now, gusto ko talaga mag-act for the crowd ko. As in, sobrang interested ako sa acting mismo.
"Compared to before, kailangan ko mag-work kasi kailangan ko ng pera, siyempre to live, right?
"And now that I'm more settled, I feel more, I feel more comfortable in my personal life.
"I can really focus on what matters the most to me.
"And then, being a mom, I think, has also helped me become empathetic.
"So, mas marami akong emotions na kaya ko i-connect sa scenes, sa characters."
So, wala nang urungan ang kanyang pagpasok sa showbiz—maging acting man o hosting?
Sagot ni Katarina, "Yes, so I'm actually in workshops now. So I'm under Viva actually now.
"And they have me under workshops, may mga projects lined up."
Kasalukuyang palabas sa mga sinehan ang pelikulang G! LU.

GOODBYE PAGEANTRY
Thirty-one years old ngayon si Katarina. May asawa at dalawang anak.
Marami ang nagsasabing puwedeng-puwede siyang sumali sa Miss Universe Philippines dahil tinanggal na ang restrictions sa edad at status ng mga kandidatang sasali.

May plano ba siyang sumali sa Miss Universe Philippines?
Ayon kay Katrina, "So, dahil wala nang restriction sa Miss Universe, parang nainis din ako.
"Kasi yung time na gusto ko mag-pageants, may restrictions pa, tapos there's an age limit.
"Pero ngayon na wala akong masyadong interest sa pageantry, ngayon lang na wala na ang limitations.
"But I think the acting career is more my calling now."
