The Miss Universe fever is not over yet!
Nag-uumapaw ang pasasalamat ni Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee sa pagmamahal at suporta ng mga Pilipino sa naging laban niya sa Miss Universe 2023.
Ito'y kahit bigo niyang makuha at maiuwi ang ika-lima sanang Miss Universe crown ng Pilipinas.
Ginanap ang 72nd edition ng international beauty pageant sa El Salvador noong November 19, 2023 (Philippine time), kunsaan si Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios ang kinoronahang Miss Universe 2023.
Habang ang pambato ng Pilipinas na si Michelle ay nakaabot hanggang sa Top 10.

Sa kabila nito, ramdam na ramdam pa rin daw ni Michelle ang pagmamahal at suporta ng kanyang mga kababayan nang magbalik siya sa bansa noong Sabado, November 18.

Kahapon, November 26, nakapanayam si Michelle sa Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.
Dito ay nagkaroon siya ng pagkakataong sagutin ang final question sa Top 3 finalists na sina Miss Thailand Anntonia Porsild, Miss Australia Moraya Wilson, at Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios.
Tanong ng host na si Boy Abunda: "If you could live one year in another woman’s shoes, who would you choose and why?"

Bago sumagot, nilinaw muna ni Michelle na wala siyang intensiyong ikumpara ang kanyang magiging sagot sa naging sagot ng tatlong Miss Universe finalists. Katuwaan lang daw ito at wala siyang gustong patungkulan.
Sagot ni Michelle: "If I could choose in any woman's shoes, it would be Apo Whang-od.
"She's an amazing symbol of cultural preservation. She’s an amazing symbol of ageism.
"She has been defying boundaries, stereotypes.
"And that is something that I have tried to inspire everybody around me as well, which is to hone your unique story, own your traditions, love where you came from, love who you're surrounded with.
"And truly, with that unique story, you can make your country proud, you can show the universe what your country has to offer and, in my case, my love for our country can really shake the whole universe as well."

MICHELLE REACTS TO ANNE JAKRAJUTATIP'S VIRAL "MOVE ON" VIDEO
Sa Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, ipinaliwanag din ni Michelle ang kuwento sa likod ng diumano'y pambabatos at pagtataboy sa kanya ni Miss Universe Organization owner Anne Jakrajutatip.
Noong November 21, nag-viral sa social media ang video clip kunsaan makikitang umalis si Michelle sa stage matapos ang guesting nila ng kapwa Miss Universe 2023 candidates sa Mexican television show na Venga La Alegri sa Mexico.
Kasama nina Michelle at Anne sa entablado ang Miss Universe 2023 candidates mula Lebanon, Germany, Colombia, Thailand, at USA, at ang businessman na si Raul Rocha.
Isang babaeng staff ang lumapit kina Anne at Raul at binulungan ang mga ito. Maya-maya pa ay lumapit ang babaeng staff kay Michelle at in-escort-an nito palabas ang Kapuso actress.
Ang tagpong ito ay nagpagalit sa fans ni Michelle.
Kanya-kanya ring interpretasyon ang mga ito na, diumano, inutusan ni Anne ang babaeng staff na paalisin si Michelle sa stage.
Bagamat kalauna'y naglabas din ng statement ang pamunuan ng Miss Universe Philippines upang pabulaanan ang mga akusasyong ipinupukol kay Anne.

Ayon kay Michelle, may katotohanan ang naging pahayag ng Miss Universe Philippines sa kanilang official statement na masama ang kanyang pakiramdam noong araw na iyon kaya siya nagpaalam bumaba sa entablado.
Aniya, "The story release that I wasn't feeling well that day. I was already sick leaving El Salvador.
"Hindi siyang pangbabastos, because the organization already knew that I was kind of feeling ill.
"I just powered through the first segment and then that's why they notified Miss Anne and Sir Raul and escorted me out.
"But the segment was already finished."
Sundot na tanong ni Boy, "But what about the "move on Thailand" ni Miss Anne?"
Ang tinutukoy ni Boy ay ang isa pang nag-viral na video kung saan iniinterbyu ni Anne si Michelle.
Nagsasalita si Anne ng Thai, na may halong English, kaya hindi lubusang maintindihan ang kanyang sinasabi, ngunit kapansin-pansin ang paulit-ulit niyang pagbanggit ng "move on."
Base sa translation ng netizens, sinabi raw ni Anne kay Michelle na gagawa siya ng kantang may temang "moving on" para makalimutan na ng mga Pilipino ang hindi pagpasok ng pambato ng Pilipinas sa Top 5 ng Miss Universe 2023.
Nilinaw rin daw ni Anne sa video na walang manipulasyon o pandarayang naganap sa resulta ng Miss Universe 2023.

Paliwanag ni Michelle, naniniwala siyang walang masamang intensiyon si Anne sa kanyang mga sinabi.
Ang nakikita lang daw niyang mali ay kung paano ito dineliver at sinabi sa kanyang live.
Saad ni Michelle, "Quite frankly, I feel like Miss Universe is essentially alive because of the supporters, because of everybody that's so passionate.
"Even though she might not have had bad intentions the way she executed, delivered, it could've been better.
"I frankly think there's always a better way to be more respectful to the fans.
"But of course, do I believe that it was done with malicious intent? I try to see the best in everybody."
