"There are too many questions about it, 'kung dinaya,' pero parang sanay na ako, e.

"This is almost how many years?

"At the end, everybody really deserves to win. Sa totoo, you're not going to be there if you don't deserve to win."

NO SECRET FORMULA IN WINNING THE CROWN

"I always feel it's fate," seryosong pahayag ni Gloria.

"Hindi naman ako yung pinakamaganda, e. Hindi ba? Ang daming mas maganda, ang daming matatangkad, ang daming malaking boobs, and during my time puro totoo yun, hindi ba? Pero at the end of the day, it's really suwertihan."

Dagdag niya, "I mean, you can move mountains, declare this, declare that. Pero at the end of the day, it's destiny."

"You and I, and everyone, if we bought a ticket to the lotto, we have a good chance of winning one in 10 million, one in two million, and since she was in that contest, she had a good chance of winning," paliwanag ni Gloria.

NOOD KA MUNA!

"Pero tayong mga Pilipino, nasanay tayo na laging panalo na all of a sudden we all feel na, 'Naku, dinaya,' 'Lutong Macao,' and stuff like that."

STORY ABOUT MELANIE MARQUEZ

"There was so many 'cannot' kasi hindi marunong mag-English, 'cannot' kasi ganito, ganyan. I pushed for her talaga. She's beautiful. This is not an IQ contest. This is not a contest for who's the smartest or the best in English," sabi ni Gloria, pertaining sa English speaking skills ni Melanie na madalas nagiging tampulan ng tukso.

Pagpapatuloy ni Gloria, "Sa akin, in fact, all this time, sabi ko dapat all our Filipino contestants should speak in their language, whatever they feel like para they have time to think, di ba?

"Ang daming interpreter diyan. I said, you know if you're an Ilocana [and] that's your first language, speak in Ilocano, hindi ba?"

Going back to Michelle ay all praises si Gloria sa ipinakita nitong magandang laban bilang representative ng bansa.

"Amazing" kung ilarawan ni Gloria ang naging performance ni Michelle during the pageant.

"She was very confident, she had a beautiful gown. Nainggit nga ako, 'Susuot ko nga yan.' [I like] the black [gown], I like the one yung parang tattooed," ngiti ni Gloria.

"And she had good answers and stuff. Pero iba naman ang type ng judges for this year."
