Corinne Bailey Rae shared an unforgettable night with Filipino fans during her first concert in the Philippines, as part of the Black Rainbows Tour.
The renowned English singer-songwriter showed genuine enjoyment of the Filipino crowd at the concert presented by Karpos Live at The Filinvest Tent in Muntinlupa City on November 14, 2023.

The evening featured stellar performances of her hits “Put Your Records On,” “Like A Star,” “Closer,” “Green Aphrodisiac,” “Till It Happens To You,” and “Is This Love,” among others.
Between the musical magic, Corinne Bailey Rae took moments between songs to convey her gratitude to her fans, “Thank you so much for coming tonight.
“Thank you for making this such a special show— my very first time in the Philippines; first time in the Philippines, first time visiting.
“Now, I hope I get to come back.”

Corinne Bailey's soulful “The Skies Will Break,” a song she described as dedicated to “anyone going through a difficult time,” warmed the hearts of the audience.
The 44-year-old artist also treated her Filipino fans to a taste of Black Rainbows, her most experimental album to date, singing along with them particularly during the outro of “New York Transit Queen.”
To make the one-night show more memorable and electrifying, the Grammy-award recipient showcased her versatility by playing four different instruments and giving the stage to her band for impressive solos.
Indeed, the hour-and-a-half performance was not only about Corinne Bailey's powerful vocals but also her exceptional fan interaction, the diverse talents of her band, and the overall brilliance of her showmanship.

Before bidding farewell, the award-winning singer became emotional as she reiterated, “I wanna come back here one day…
“Thank you so much for your time and your energy and your belief.
“Thank you for staying with me for all these years.”
