Mikoy Morales non-showbiz gf gets gets affected of sex scenes

Mikoy Morales was hailed as the Best Actor of Cinemalaya 2023 for his daring movie Tether.

He received his Balanghai trophy during the awarding ceremony held Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the Philippine International Convention Center.

Mikoy was cited for "his compelling performance of a charming but predatory womanizer who gets his just desserts."

Tether is about an arrogant playboy and a timid young woman (played by Jorrybell Agoto) who had a one-night stand.

They discover that any kind of pleasure or pain they inflict on themselves can be felt simultaneously by the other person.

Tether, which is directed by Gian Arre, also bagged the Cinemalaya trophy for Best Sound "for its effective sound design in which both noise and silence are melded well together to heighten psychological realism."

When PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Mikoy if his non-showbiz girlfriend Isa Garcia got jealous of his partners in his love scenes, the Sparkle actor answered, "Meron minsan but we worked through it.

"She's not used to my profession, kung anong ginagawa ko. Grabe siya umunawa."

He described Isa as "the love of my life" and admitted, "Kaya ko nagawa ang mga ito kasi pumasok siya sa buhay ko."
