Masaya ang maraming fans ni Lea Salonga na naka-recover na siya sa COVID.
Balik na rin si Lea sa Broadway musical na Here Lies Love simula kagabi, August 8, 2023 (U.S. time).
Pero ayon sa singer-actress, hindi pa talaga siya 100 percent fully recovered kaya iwas muna siyang tumambay sa stage door ng teatro matapos ang kanyang performance.
Buong post ni Lea sa Instagram kahapon din, “Back on the dance floor tonight!!! Feeling so much better now, thank goodness!
"However, since I’m still not at 100%, I won’t be hanging out at the stage door following the performance. Thanks for your understanding, and see you later!”

Ilang araw na ang nakalilipas, maraming manonood ng Here Lies Love ang nakapansing wala si Lea sa performers.
Noong Lunes, August 7, mismong si Lea ang nag-anunsiyong nagpositibo siya sa COVID-19 kaya nagpapahinga muna siya.
Sabi ng Pinay Broadway Diva, “Hi everyone! So perhaps few of you that have been coming to Here Lies Love this week noticed that I haven’t been in the theater since Wednesday.
"Well, I tested positive for COVID, and thus made the decision to isolate and stay away from work. Thankfully, my overall symptoms were mild, quite a different experience from my first bout with the virus."
Umaasa si Lea na makababalik siya sa Here Lies Love kahapon, Martes, August 8.
Itatanghal ang musical sa Broadway Theatre hanggang August 19, 2023 na lamang.
Dagdag pa niya, “Although I did wish to return by weekend, COVID had other ideas, so out of abundance of caution for audiences, co-workers and myself, I opted to take all the time to rest and heal.
“I intend to come back to The Broadway Theatre this Tuesday. However, since I’m still on the mend, I will opt out of stage door autograph signing until further notice.
“As wonderful as it is to connect to you all after the performance, I need to take care of myself. Thank you so much for supporting our show! Can’t wait to get back on the dance floor!”

At natupad naman ang kanyang kahilingang makabalik sa teatro sa mismong araw na ninais niya.
Nagkaroon ng ilang isyu sa pagtatanghal ng Here Lies Love dahil may mga fans umano si Lea na bigla na lamang sumugod sa kanyang dressing room.
