Matagumpay na nairaos ni Sarah Geronimo ang kanyang concert sa Araneta Coliseum, sa Cubao, Quezon City, nitong Biyernes, May 12, 2023.
Sold out ang concert na ginanap para i-celebrate ang 20th anniversary ni Sarah sa showbiz.
Punung-puno ng highlights ang special event at nabusog ang fans na nakikanta, nakisayaw, at nakihiyaw sa bawat awiting ihandog ng Popstar Royalty.
Subalit sa likod ng tagumpay nito ay nabalot din ng kontrobersiya ang pagtatanghal.
Bago pa man ang mismong event ay usap-usapan ang absence ng G-Force dance group sa concert.
Ang G-Force, sa pamumuno ni Georcelle Dapat-Sy o Teacher Georcelle, ay matagal nang backup dancers ni Sarah para sa kanyang upbeat numbers.
Sila rin ang bumuo ng choreography para sa dance moves ng mga awitin ni Sarah, partikular sa hit song at naging trending at viral na "Tala."
HEARD THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE
Ayon sa mga naglabasang usap-usapan ay hindi pagkakaunawaan sa kampo ng G-Force at Viva, ang management team sa likod ni Sarah, ang sanhi kaya hindi nakasama ang grupo sa concert ng singer-actress.

Hindi raw nagkasundo and G-Force at Viva sa talent fee.
At dahil hindi sila kasama sa concert ay ayaw raw ipagamit ng G-Force ang dance moves na ginawa nila sa ibang dancers na sasama kay Sarah sa entablado.
Sakali mang gamitin ang mga ito ay P150,000 per choreo raw ang hinihingi ng grupo bilang bayad.
Sa kabila ng kontrobersiya ay hindi naman nakalimutan ni Sarah na batiin at pasalamatan si Georcelle at ang G-Force noong araw ng concert.
"G-Force, thank you! G-Force! I love you!" bulalas ni Sarah mula sa stage.
TEACHER GEORCELLE SPEAKS
Dahil na rin sa kabi-kabilang espekulasyon ay kinuha ng showbiz reporter at talent manager na si Ogie Diaz ang panig ni Teacher Georcelle sa pamamagitan ng text messaging.
Ibinahagi ni Ogie ang pahayag ni Teacher Georcelle sa kanyang YouTube vlog kahapon, May 14.
Ayon kay Teacher Georcelle, "We've been training her and G-Force have been dancing with her for 16 years.
"She's looking for growth as an artist and as a person. She wants to try other things."
Inamin ni Teacher Georcelle na meron ngang "artistic differences" sa magkabilang kampo.
Suportado naman daw ni Teacher Georcelle kung may pagbabago man sa direksiyon ni Sarah bilang perfomer.
Sabi niya, "I wanna support her as she embarks on this new chapter even if it means stepping out for a while.
"Mama Ogs, I did everything out of love and respect for her as an artist and a friend.
"Parang love team kami for 16 years, but this year gusto niya to try other things.
"This process was painful for G-Force. Most of them cried, especially the choreographers who have been training hard to bring out the best in her. It's like a breakup.
"SG wants something else, I want her to exercise that artistic freedom.
"But it's also my right to exercise my artistic freedom. I had to pull out two months ago in March.
"Of course, my team will always understand and respect my decision.
"This is me encouraging SG to experience that creative freedom and to be the ultimate decision-maker in producing and directing her 20th-anniversary concert."
Itinanggi naman ni Teacher Georcelle na nagpadala sila ng demand letter sa kampo ni Sarah kaugnay sa bayad kung sakaling gagamitin ang chereographed dance steps na binuo ng G-Force para sa pop singer.
"Personal letter" daw ang ipinadala ni Georcelle at hindi demand letter katulad ng lumabas sa balita.
Lumalabas na copyrighted sa pangalan ni Georcelle ang dance steps, at may karapatan siya para pangalagaan at kumita dito ayon sa batas.
"Wala ako sa position to demand for anything especially when no work is delivered, but I can quote for the price of the use of my copyrighted works," sagot ni Georcelle.
"I sent a personal letter not a demand letter. I did not demand. Not being a part of her 20th is my gift of freedom so she can fully express her creative dreams."
Bagamat may isyu ay diniin ni Georcelle na magkaibigan pa rin sila ni Sarah at hindi maaapektuhan ng trabaho ang personal nilang relasyon.
