Matapos ang halos sampung taong relasyon, ikinasal na si Vin Abrenica sa kanyang longtime girlfriend at itinuturing din niyang best friend na si Sophie Albert.
Dalawang beses ikinasal ang sina Vin at Sophie: una sa isang church wedding sa National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians sa Parañaque City noong January 27, 2023; at pangalawa sa isang intimate garden ceremony sa Tagaytay noong January 28.

“It’s given me a deeper appreciation for life, it gave my life direction and it's teaching me a lot about patience for sure.

VIN ABRENICA ON GMA-7'S URDUJA
Samantala, naghahanda naman ngayon si Vin para sa role niyang kontrabida sa GMA series na Mga Lihim ni Urduja bilang Onyx.
Kuwento niya, “Honestly, it was a huge surprise! The role of Onyx has always been a dream role of mine. Action dramas are what I have been manifesting for a while now.
"I’ve been training and preparing for something like this to happen. I feel really blessed that finally I am able to do the role I’ve been dreaming to do.”
Hindi naman ito ang unang kontrabida role na ginampanan ni Vin.
Sabi pa ng aktor, “This is not my first villain role, but it’s my first time to play the main villain talaga.
“I really just have been giving it my all and immersing myself in the role of Onyx.
"When I’m not taping, I train and study fight scenes and how I can make the role of Onyx as real as possible to me.
“I want to be able to deliver my best efforts for the fight scenes and also with the acting of course.”
