After months of speculations that Liza Soberano and Enrique "Quen" Gil, aka LizQuen, have broken up, fans were ecstatic to learn the two are still very much together.
Enrique effectively put an end to any lingering breakup rumors through his birthday post for Liza as she turned 25 on January 4, 2023.

He wrote on Instagram: "We might be worlds apart, but you’ve never been closer to my heart.
"To the most beautiful soul in the world. To my best friend and baby [emoji] i love you so much [emoji] Happy Birthday!!"
Liza then shared the post on her Instagram Stories, which drew more reactions from their fans.
Among the series of photos in Enrique's post, Liza chose to repost a backside photo of them that showed her leaning in for a hug from the actor, with the caption: "Thank you for being there for me even when it's hard"
Because fans were looking forward to the couple's interaction, it did not take long for the hashtag #LizQuen to start trending on Twitter even until a day after Liza's birthday.
