Inihayag ng British-Thai entrepreneur na si Tim Connor na nakabinbin ang planong pamumuhunan ng kanyang foreign partners sa Pilipinas dahil sa kinasasangkutan nilang adultery case ni Maggie Wilson.
Sa kanyang Instagram Stories kagabi, August 20, 2022, ibinahagi ni Tom ang email ng isa niyang business partner tungkol sa desisyon ng kanilang board “to hold all further activities in the Philippines,” na magbibigay sana ng trabaho sa libu-libong Pilipino.
Sinampahan si Tim at ang kanyang business associate na si Maggie ng adultery case sa korte ng estranged husband ng huli na si Victor Consunji.

Bahagi ng nakasaad sa sulat: “As we discussed earlier in the year, on your advice my group decided to start planning our relocation of back office services from _____ to the Philippines after you and Maggie mentioned what a fantastic, exciting and developing market it was.
“It’s such a great shame that after seeing your and Maggie’s issues that you have recently faced that our board has decided to hold all future activities in the Philippines, including our employment of potentially 7k-10k Filipino team members and heavy investment in the country.
“I realise that you as a foreign investor/entrepreneur and Maggie as a local championed the country as a great place to find well-skilled staff, and Maggie’s mention of the Philippines as having such great opportunities for businesses to thrive in the next few years excited our collective board.”
Sa isa pang post, sinabi ni Tim na hindi siya nagbabahagi ng personal emails pero may pahintulot daw ito ng kanyang partner kaya ipinost niya.
Ganunpaman, kahit may mga balakid, hindi raw ito magiging hadlang sa pagpupursige niyang makapamuhunan sa bansa.
Bahagi ng kanyang post, “Despite the challenges we both have faced, I won’t let some pathetic legal accusations deter me from pushing what is such an exciting market to become what I feel could be a significant hub for business in Asia.”
Ibinahagi rin ni Maggie sa kanyang Instagram Stories ang liham ng kanilang business partner, pati na ang mensahe ni Tim.
Mensahe ni Maggie, “I’ve always been pro Filipino and pro business whether big or small. If we all work together we can show the world what we’re made of!”
Samantala, mariing pinabulaanan ni Tim na may kaugnayan siya sa hiwalayan nina Maggie at Victor at tinawag na basura ang kaso laban sa kanya.
