It’s confirmed, Liza Soberano is heading to Hollywood!
The Kapamilya actress is joining the cast of the upcoming movie Lisa Frankenstein, which will star Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton.
Liza shared the news via Instagram when she posted a screengrab of a Deadline article about the cast of Lisa Frankenstein.
She wrote (published as is), “Ecstatic to be part of this film [zombie emoji].”
According to Deadline. com, Liza, Carla Gugino (The Haunting of Hill House), Joe Chrest (Stranger Things), and Henry Eikenberry (Euphoria) will star alongside Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton in the horror-comedy Lisa Frankenstein, which is the directorial debut of actor-filmmaker Zelda Williams.
The article also said, “Soberano is a Filipino-American actress, model, and singer who with Lisa Frankenstein will make her Hollywood feature film debut.
“The multi-hyphenate boasts a large following in the Philippines, where she’s known for roles in films like My Ex and Whys (2017) and Alone/Together (2019), as well as the more recent Netflix animated feature Trese, which had her voicing the titular character.”
Earlier this week, speculations that Liza will be joining the Hollywood film surfaced after the eagle-eyed supporters caught wind of an Instagram story by JSLA Events’ Jessie Stafford where she tagged the Filipino actress.
