Filipino K-Pop fans are again seeing their favorite groups perform live after two years of waiting.
On Sunday night, May 29, 2022, SHINee's Key, NCT Dream, WEi, and Alice performed for their Filipino fans during the Begin Again: K-Pop Edition held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Filipino K-drama fans are also excited about the upcoming meet-and-greet events in the country with My Love From the Star lead star Kim Soo Hyun and True Beauty actor Hwang In Yeop's.

Filipino fans are also looking forward to attending more shows of local bands in the coming months. And so far, two other K-pop will be staging concerts in Manila. Check out the details below.
RED VELVET
SM Entertainment's five-member girl group Red Velvet—composed of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Yeri, and Joy—is set to headline the BE YOU: The World Will Adjust concert happening on July 22, 2022, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Directed by Alex Magbanua, BE YOU: The World Will Adjust is a special advocacy concert "that promotes mental health awareness for People with Special Needs."
Also in the lineup are P-pop groups BINI and BGYO, as well solo artist Lady Pipay.
In a short video uploaded on BE YOU's official Instagram account, Red Velvet invited their fans to watch their concert for a cause.
Wendy said, "Come join us to celebrate an extraordinary event for people with special needs."
The video ended with Seulgi saying, "Kita-kits tayong lahat."
Irene added, "Mahal po namin kayo."
Tickets for the concert are available via SMTickets for PHP 1,500 (GenAd), PHP 2,500 (Upper Box), PHP 4,500 (Lower Box), PHP 6,000 (Patron), and PHP 7,000 (VIP).
This will be the group's third time performing for their Filipino fans. Their first concert in the country happened on April 12, 2015. The group was part of the Best of Best KPOP Concert, which also featured Super Junior, Girls Generation, and BTOB.
Red Velvet made its debut in August 2014. Some of the hit songs include "Red Flavor, "Bad Boy," "Russian Roulette," "Ice Cream Cake," "Psycho," "Queendom," and their latest single, "Feel My Rhythm."

G-IDLE
Filipino NEVERLANDs (fandom name) are also excited to finally see their favorite girl group (G)-IDLE perform live via the JUST ME ()I-DLE world tour in Manila on September 11, 2022.
Cube Entertainment's five-member girl group—composed of Soyeon, Minnie, Shuhua, Miyeon, and Yuqi—is known for their chart-topping hits such as “LATATA,” “Oh my God,” “i’M THE TREND,” and “DUMDi DUMDi.”
The group's Manila concert will be staged after their North American tour. They will also have stops in Japan, Indonesia, and Singapore.
This will be the very first time the group will stage a solo concert in Manila. (G)-IDLE was supposed to have a Manila concert in June 2020 for their I-LAND: WHO AM I world tour. The concert, however, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

K-POP CONCERTS + K-MOVIES
To those who won't be able to watch their favorite groups perform live, SM Cinema commits to making sure that Filipino fans won't miss any movies and live concerts of the K-Pop stars.

Just recently, SM Cinema had an exclusive live viewing of global pop sensation BTS' Permission to Dance concert. The cinema chain also had a successful run for Seventeen's POWER OF LOVE: THE MOVIE.
