Excited ang dating Pinoy Big Brother: Otso housemate na si Diana Mackey sa mga bago nitong mae-experience bilang kandidata ng Binibining Pilipinas 2022.
Kabilang si Diana sa Top 40 candidates mula sa iba't ibang bahagi ng bansa na lumalaban sa 59th edition ng national pageant.
Para sa kanya, best strategy ang mag-enjoy lang sa kanyang experience bilang Binibining Pilipinas candidate.
"Whatever you’re doing, you have to love what you’re doing or else, it will fail, di ba?
"So, everything you do, you have to put your heart and your soul to it and make sure that you’re having fun," pahayag ng 24-year-old aspiring beauty queen.

FROM HOUSEMATE TO BINIBINI
Aminado si Diana na nakakaramdam siya ng pressure lalo't nakilala siya ng publiko bilang isang PBB housemate.
Ngunit imbes na magpadala sa pressure ay ginamit niya ito bilang motivation sa pagsali sa kanyang unang national pageant.
Sabi niya, "There’s pressure, yeah, but it’s a good kind of pressure, you know.
"Parang I strive to be my very best for my fans, for the people that follow me.
"Of course, I want to be a role model to everyone who supports me. So, it’s a good kind of pressure."
Malaking tulong din para kay Diana ang experience niya sa Pinoy Big Brother lalo sa pag-handle ng bashers.
Ayon kay Diana, iniiwasan muna niyang magbasa ng comments sa social media upang hindi maapektuhan ng bashers ang kanyang mental health lalo't nasa kalagitnaan na sila ng kompetisyon.
"Actually, by nature, I’m a very, like, deadma person talaga.
"Like, I don’t read comments, especially now that the competition is ongoing because I know that it’s not gonna be good for my mental health, for my well-being.
"So, as much as possible, I avoid reading comments talaga.
"I just take in the comments of the people that I love and make sure to surround myself with people that make me feel my best.
"So, yeah, aside from my trainers that make me feel my best, I also have my family there to support and I just ignore all the bad comments."

BINIBINING PILIPINAS TRAINING
Patuloy namang nagte-training si Diana para sa preliminaries at grand coronation night ng Binibining Pilipinas.
Isa sa pinaghahandaan niya nang husto ay ang question-and-answer portion.
Paliwanag nito, "Because I’m an introverted person. It takes a lot of effort for me to open myself up to people and start conversations.
"So, that’s what I’m really working on."
Handa na rin kaya siya para sa evening gown competition at national costume show?
Sagot ni Diana, "I’m ready, of course. I’m excited to see everyone’s dresses, what color everyone’s gonna wear.
"But, yeah, it’s gonna be a very big surprise for everyone so I’m excited."
