Four miting de avance events were held in different parts of the country on Saturday night, May 7, 2022—the last campaign day for the 2022 elections.
Dozens of celebrities and thousands of supporters flocked the respective venues to show their support for their 2022 elections bets.
LENI-KIKO MITING DE AVANCE
The miting de avance of Vice President Leni Robredo, her running mate Senator Francis Pangilinan, and the "Tropang Angat" senatorial slate composed of Teddy Baguilat, Leila de Lima, Chel Diokno, Dick Gordon, Risa Hontiveros, Alex Lacson, Sonny Matula, Antonio Trillanes, and Elmer Labog was held in Makati City.
Supporters of the Leni-Kiko tandem painted Ayala Avenue and its neighboring streets pink as the event gathered a mammoth crowd of 1 million by 11 p.m., according to the estimate provided by the event's organizers and the Philippine National Police (PNP).

This was double the number of attendees during the birthday rally for Leni Robredo last April 23, 2022, in Pasay City, where over 400,000 participants showed up. It also came on the heels of the rally held on May 6, 2022, Friday, at the Vice President's hometown in Naga City, where over 300,000 people attended.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray did her iconic lava walk at the Leni-Kiko miting de avance for the very first time since she publicly endorsed their tandem in a vlog she uploaded in April 2022.
During her speech, Catriona reminded everyone that people have the power to change the government in the upcoming polls.
She said, "We need to remember that the government has the power to change our lives, but we have the power to change the government.
"The one thing that brought us [here] today is not just a name, it is not just a person, a party, or a color, it is hope, and I am so proud to raise my voice in the pursuit of that very hope alongside each and every one of you."
Among the celebrities that showed up at the event were Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Gary Valenciano, Angel Locsin, Iza Calzado, Jolina Magdangal, Marvin Agustin, Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Gab Valenciano, Yeng Constantino, Rochelle Pangilinan, Andrea Brillantes, Janine Gutierrez, Janella Salvador, Kathryn Bernardo, and Daniel Padilla.
The OPM artists that performed at the event were Ely Buendia, Moonstar 88, Rivermaya, Nica del Rosario, and Ben&Ben.

BBM-SARA MITING DE AVANCE
Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos and his running mate Sara Duterte wrapped up their 90-day campaign at the open grounds in front of Solaire Resort & Casino in Parañaque City.
This was the last of the three-part miting de avance events of "UniTeam" for the 2022 elections. The first one was held in Guimbal, Iloilo on May 3, 2022; the second in Tagum City, Davao del Norte on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
UniTeam's senatorial candidates Robin Padilla, Gringo Honasan, Gibo Teodoro, Win Gatchalian, Migz Zubiri, Herbert Bautista, Harry Roque, Mark Villar, Larry Gadon, Loren Legarda, Jinggoy Estrada, Rodante Marcoleta were present.
According to a tweet posted by Lakas-CMD—or Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats, a polical party headed by Martin Romualde—the crowd estimate at UniTeam's Luzon miting de avance reached 1 million at 10 p.m.
Ai-Ai delas Alas and Bayani Agbayani served as the hosts of the event.
Wowowin host Willie Revillame also made a surprise appearance and performed some of his songs, including "Tantaran (Chuchuruchuru)." In his short speech, Willie also explained why he chose not to run for senator.
He said, "Hindi ko kayang maging senador. Kung ano lang ang kakayanan ko, yun lang ang gagawin ko. Mahirap lokohin ang sarili ko at sayang ang boto niyo para sa akin."

The artiss that performed at the BBM-Sara miting de avance were Pops Fernandez, Aegis, Allmo$t, Beverly Salviejo, Brod Pete, Bugoy Drilon, Michael Pangilinan, Daryl Ong, DJ Loonyo, Geneva Cruz, Karla Estrada, Katrina Velarde, Kris Lawrence, Richard Reynoso, Renz Verano, Ex-Battalion, and Toni Gonzaga, among many others.
ISKO-DOC WILLIE MITING DE AVANCE
Presidential candidate Isko Moreno Domagoso and his running mate Dr. Willie Ong ended their campaign in Tondo, Manila.
Over 50,000 people attended the event, according to the Manila Police District.
Mayor Isko and Doc Willie's senatorial slate composed of Samira Gutoc, Jopet Sison, Carl Balita, and John Castriciones addressed the crowd during the event.
Also present: Mayor Isko's son Joaquin Domagoso, OPM band Tanya Markova, siblings Joaquin and Jovani Manansala, Jimmy Bondoc, Mocha Uson, former Imago vocalist Aia de Leon, and GMA-7 actress Mikee Quintos.
MANNY-LITO MITING DE AVANCE
Presidential bet Senator Manny Pacquiao's miting de avance was held at the Oval Plaza of his hometown in General Santos City.
In attendance were Manny's wife Jinkee Pacquiao and mother Dionesia Pacquiao, as well as senatorial candidate Lutgardo Barbo.
Pacman's running mate Lito Atienza wasn't able to attend because of a knee injury.
Congressman Enrico Pineda also encouraged their supporters to vote for 1-Pacman partylist in the coming elections. He was accompanied by his son Enzo Pineda.
The boxing champ drew thousands of supporters as seen in the drone shot provided by Team Pacquiao. However, at press time, both the event organizers and local police have yet to release their crowd estimate.
Wilma Doesnt served as the host. Faith Cuneta, Mitoy Yonting, and Freddie Aguilar came as performers.
Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez were among the celebrities who openly expressed their support for the boxing champ's candidacy during the event. Their kids Ruffa and Richard Gutierrez also lent their star power to the presidential candidate.
Meanwhile, Ka Leody de Guzman and Walden Bello held their miting de avance on May 4, at Quezon City Memorial Circle.
Senator Panfilo Lacson and his running mate Senator Tito Sotto's miting de avance gathered over 50,000 people on Friday, May 6, in Carmona, Cavite.
