Film and theater actor Nicco Manalo mourns the passing of his mother Anna Lyn S. Manalo.
Nicco Manalo, son of Eat Bulaga! comedian Jose Manalo, marked his mother's passing with a plain black photo in his Instagram. Its only caption was "Jan 14 2022," the date when Anna Lyn passed away.
A day after, Nicco and his sister Myki Manalo announced the sad news in their respective social media accounts.
Nicco announced the news through his Instagram Stories.
Myki posted the same statement in her Facebook account.
She later posted a tribute to her mom, posting throwback photos: "You loved me in the only way you knew how. It wasn't perfect, but it was still love. Thank you for giving me life."
Jose and Anna Lyn got married when the comedian was just 18 years old.
Together, they had five children with Nicco as their eldest.
The couple later separated and remained estranged until Anna Lyn's death.
