Carlos "Charlie" Cojuangco and China Jocson were married in an intimate church ceremony at the San Sebastian Tarlac Cathedral, Sunday night, October 10.

Charlie is the incumbent congressman of the First District of Tarlac, while China is a crisis management strategist and former assistant to the presidential spokesperson.

The church wedding was officiated by Tarlac Bishop Macaraeg, Bishop Emeritus Cinense, and around 45 priest friends of both families.

However, only family and entourage were allowed in the ceremony. The total guest count inside the cathedral was thirty-five (35), not including the priests, although its capacity is two thousand.

The bride and the groom with their godparents including Tessie Ang, Tessie Sy Coson, Vice Governor Lilia Pineda, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., and Francisco Laurel-Tiu.

Charlie was given away by his older brother, Mark, and Rio Diaz's eldest sister, Ruby Diaz Roa, while her brothers Jerome and Francis gave China away.

Charlie was married to Rio who passed away in 2004.

Notable celebrity guests were 1969 Miss Universe and Rio's sister Gloria Diaz (one of the flower ladies); actress Ana Roces (bridesmaid); Dingdong Dantes (long-time friend of China and one of Charlie's groomsmen); Ali Alejandro (son of Rio and Hajji Alejandro; one of the groomsmen); Anton Lagdameo, a good friend of Charlie and husband of actress Dawn Zulueta; business tycoon Ramon S. Ang; businesswoman Tessie Sy Coson (daughter of SM's Henry Sy); and presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Tim Yap, a friend of the bride, and Tessa Prieto-Valdes were the hosts at the wedding reception.

It was also attended by actress Ruffa Gutierrez and a bevy of political figures like senator friends, cabinet members, and local executives.

The reception was held at the Kaisa Hall, at the Tarlac Plazuela.

Charlie and China tied the knot in a civil ceremony held in Paniqui, Tarlac on April 7, 2021.
