Binasag na ni Kiko Estrada ang kanyang katahimikan ukol sa sanga-sangang kontrobersiya kaugnay ng love life niya.
Sa vlog ng showbiz journalist at talent manager na si Ogie Diaz kagabi, August 24, binigyang linaw ni Kiko ang isyu tungkol sa hiwalayan nila ng ex-girlfriend na si Devon Seron.
Gayundin ang pagkabuo ng pagmamahalan nila ni Heaven Peralejo, na pinagbibintangang third party sa hiwalayan nila ni Devon.
Diin ng aktor, hindi nag-overlap ang relasyon niya kina Devon at Heaven.
Tumagal ng lagpas dalawang taon ang relasyon nina Kiko at Devon, at naghiwalay sila noong unang bahagi ng 2021.
Ayon kay Kiko, Valentine's Day ng 2021 sila nag-break ni Devon.
Pagkalipas ng isang buwan, nagkakamabutihan naman sila ni Heaven na dating co-star niya sa panghapong serye ng ABS-CBN na Bagong Umaga. Pero hindi pa raw sila noon.
Lahad ni Kiko, “A month after, pero we're still not together at this point, we're just talking and, you know, trying to get to know each other...
“Through the hardships, through the issues, we became closer. So, I would never expect na magiging kami or in any way, form, whatsoever.
“So, nakakalungkot lang na, yun nga, it had to be this way, yung reaction of people.”
HEAVEN’S BASHERS
March 2021, nagpahiwatig si Devon na nagkaroon ng lamat ang relasyon nila ni Kiko sa pamamagitan ng isang cryptic post sa Instagram.
Kagyat namang itinuro ng netizens si Heaven na siya diumanong third party sa hiwalayan nina Kiko at Devon.
Mula noon ay hindi na tinantanan ng bashers at mga tagasuporta ni Devon si Heaven sa social media.
Ito ay kahit mariing itinanggi ni Heaven na may kinalaman siya sa breakup nina Kiko at Devon.
Sa vlog ni Ogie, iginiit ni Kiko na hindi nang-agaw si Heaven.
Saad niya, “Kaya nga ako nandito ako just to clarify everything. I think it’s long overdue.
“Kasi, I’m the type of man na marespeto ako sa past, sa future, sa present, in any way.
“So, I don’t really talk about my private life, but this is going overboard na kasi.
“I just want them to know the truth. And to know the specific timeline from me, so yun.”
Kasunod nito ay ibinigay ni Kiko ang timeline ng paghihiwalay nila ni Devon at pagsisimula ng relasyon nila ni Heaven.
Aniya: “Me and Devon broke up on Valentine's Day 2021, and then me and Heaven became together May 30.
“But of course we [me and Heaven] were talking a month after the breakup [with Devon].”
Ikinadismaya raw ni Kiko na pilit pa ring idinidikit ng mga tao si Devon sa kanya kahit hiwalay na sila.
Sabi niya, “I guess people believe what they want to believe.
"Yun nga ang nakakalungkot, e, because... that’s why I stopped social media, because alam ko naman na, you know, people will judge you no matter if they know everything or they truly know who you are.
“So, parang I gave up the whole point, na parang I want them to understand. I want them to really know the truth.
“Because I know they would believe whatever they want to believe.”
“I AM NOT A CHEATER”
Nagdesisyon daw magsalita si Kiko dahil hindi na niya kayang makitang malungkot si Heaven.
Puro kasinungalingan daw kasi ang ibinabato ng mga tao sa kanyang girlfriend sa social media.
Pahayag ni Kiko: “But seeing the person you love hurt by lies or by fabricated truth, it takes a man to stand up to tell the truth. To tell what really happens.
"Kasi Tito O, I'm a private guy, you know this.
“Nakakalungkot lang na I had to reach to this point, to show or to tell everyone the truth.
“Kasi mahirap naman yung taong mahal mo, makikita mo laging malungkot...
"You know, bashing is okay, bashing will always happen, but of course, you know, tao rin kami, naaapektuhan din kami.”
Iginiit din ng aktor na hindi siya manloloko at kahit kailan ay wala siyang niloko.
Nasasaktan daw siya sa bintang na isa siyang “cheater.”
Ani Kiko, “Na, what's this, I’m a cheater, I am not a cheater.
"Na Heaven is a third party. She is not a third party.
"There’s nothing like that happened. Kasi, kung totoo, tatanggapin ko.
"Like, we have to live with it because it’s the truth, and the truth will set you free.
"But this is not the truth. This is something they would want to believe.
"They would want to point and say that I’m the bad guy, or she’s the bad girl.
"Like, someone, sa teleserye o sa pelikula, kailangan may kontrabida, so I guess that’s what they want.
"I’m just here to explain and to clarify."
