Maris Racal poked fun at a face-shield blooper that occured during her guesting at Magandang Buhay earlier today, August 12, 2021.
The blooper happened to guest co-host Janice de Belen, who was pinch-hitting for Karla Estrada.
It happened during the cooking segment where Maris cooked her specialty dish: a Visayan soup called Law-Uy.
Host Melai Cantiveros teased Maris that Janice, a known celebrity chef, will be the first to taste her dish.
This made Maris quite nervous throughout the segment, as she anticipated Janice's reaction to her dish.
Janice was about to taste Maris's dish when she realized that her face shield was actually covering her mouth!
Melai noticed the blooper and said with a laugh, "Muntik na makalimutan!"
Janice just smiled at her blooper, and simply raised her face shield without removing it.

The blooper could have gone unnoticed, if not for Maris's Facebook post after the episode.
Maris posted a screenshot of the blooper where she could be seen trying not to laugh as she looked at Janice.
She wrote in her post (published as is), "sinasabi ko sa inyo sana wala nang face shield. lito lito na tayo."
Maris's Facebook post elicited funny reactions from netizens, even saying that her song "Ate, Sandali" fits her reaction to Janice's blooper.
Maris later wrote in the comments section, "love u miss janice!"
