Ilang oras na lang at Miss Universe 2020 grand coronation night na!
Kaya naman ramdam na sa Iloilo ang pagkakaisa ng mga Ilonggos sa pagsuporta sa kanilang “reyna” na si Miss Universe Philippines 2020 na si Rabiya Mateo.
Si Rabiya ay ipinanganak sa Balasan, Iloilo.
Sa Iloilo City naman siya nag-aral ng college at nagtapos bilang cum laude ng kursong Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy mula sa Iloilo Doctors' College noong 2018.
Kagabi, May 15, nagkulay pula, dilaw, at bughaw ang Angelicum School Iloilo bilang suporta kay Rabiya.

Ngayong araw, May 16, ramdam na ramdam na ang pakikiisa ng mga kababayan ni Rabiya sa kanyang laban bukas.
Ang mga local artists ay gumawa ng kakaibang bersyon ng street art kunsaan iniukit nila ang mukha ng kanilang “palangga” sa isang kalsada doon malapit sa Iloilo Business Park.

Makasaysayan para sa mga Ilonggos ang laban ni Rabiya bukas dahil siya pa lang ang ikalawang Ilongga beauty queen na magri-represent sa Miss Universe pageant.
Ang nauna sa kanya ay si Louise Aurelio Vail ng Jaro, Iloilo, na nakapasok sa Top 15 sa Miss Universe 1965 pageant na ginanap sa Miami, Florida.
