Miss World Philippines monitoring Kelley Day’s condition amid COVID rumors

Arnold Vegafria remains optimistic amid rumored COVID-19 infections in Miss Eco International.

Miss World Philippines (MWP), through its national director Arnold Vegafria, says Philippines' Kelley Day's health is their "topmost priority" following rumors circulated online that some Miss Eco International 2020 candidates tested positive for COVID-19. Nakikipag-ugnayan na ang Miss World Philippines (MWP), sa pamamagitan ng national director nitong si Arnold Vegafria, sa Miss Miss Eco International organization.

Ito ay kaugnay sa kumalat na balita ngayong araw, April 6, na may mga kandidata ng Miss Eco International ang nagpositibo raw sa COVID-19.

Si Kelley Day, mula sa Pilipinas, ang representante ng bansa sa kakatapos lamang na Miss Eco International 2020 pageant sa Egypt.

Siya ang itinanghal na first runner up.

Sa pahayag na inilabas ng MWP, hinihintay raw nila ang medical test na isinasagawa ng organisasyon sa mga kandidata.

Buong pahayag pa ni Vegafria, “Miss World Philippines is coordinating closely with the Miss Eco International organization in ensuring the health and safety of all the candidates in its recently concluded pageant.

“Our official candidate, Ms. Kelley Day, remains our topmost priority, and we remain optimistic as we await the results of the organizers' routinary medical testing procedures.”

Nag-ugat ang isyu nang may nag-post sa Instagram na “nagpositibo” raw sa COVID-19 ang ilang kandidata ng pageant.

Hindi naman malinaw kung saan nakuha ang inilabas na impormasyon.

Wala pang inilabas na opisyal na pahayag ang Miss Eco International organization tungkol sa kumakalat na balita.
