Ito ang parte ng mensahe ni Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas sa kanyang ibinahaging mga larawan ni Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo sa Facebook.
Ngayong araw ng Biyernes, November 13, ang homecoming ni Rabiya sa Iloilo City, kung saan mainit siyang sinalubong ng kanyang mga kababayan.
Reynang-reyna si Rabiya sa motorcade kung saan napuno ng mga bulaklak ang kanyang sinakyan.
Saad pa ni Mayor Trenas, “Our queen is home! Welcome home, Miss Universe Philippines 2020, Rabiya Mateo!”
Kagabi, November 12, sinabi ni Rabiya na uuwi na siya ng Iloilo.
Sabi niya sa kanyang Instagram post, “Mapuli na ako Iloilo.”

Nag-courtesy call rin si Rabiya sa alkalde ng Iloilo City.
Saad ni Mayor Treñas tungkol sa beauty queen mula sa kanilang lungsod: “It is with pride and joy that we welcome back home Miss Universe Philippines, Rabiya Mateo, in the City of Love.
“The whole metro congratulates you in bringing home the crown, and inspiring the Ilonggos and the rest of the world to be courageous and brave to win any battle.
“We are very fortunate that you have been chosen because you brought the name of the city in the limelight. Let us work together to show why Iloilo City is the Wakanda of the Philippines!”
Kinoronahan si Rabiya bilang Miss Universe Philippines 2020 sa pre-taped coronation ng pageant na umere sa GMA-7 noong October 25.
