Derek Ramsay believes the current COVID-19 situation has a massive effect on our lives.
Even if this crisis ends, and life returns to normal, it will not be the same as before.
He says in an interview with DZRH on April 12, “Ang truth is, pagtapos natin malagpasan ito, lahat ng natutunan natin through this pandemic, being stuck at home sa quarantine, sana ma-continue natin...
And what has been his note to self of late?
"Family is priority."
Though the Kapuso actor does not see his family and communicates with them only via video call these days.
He actually feels closer now to his parents, siblings, and even his nieces and nephews.
“It’s more intimate, emotional, and we learn a lot of things pala kahit na magkasama na kami for how many years, buong buhay ko magkasama kami.
“I’m learning from my parents, from my sister, from my brother, from their children.”
The Kapuso actor hopes we keep the realizations we have made during this time of quarantine.
Most of all, he encourages everyone to be more conscientious about our responsibilities to the environment.
This is also something that he started teacching his son, Austin.
Derek continues, "Things like that, sana ipagpatuloy natin iyan after mawala na itong pandemic na ito.
