Umaasam pa rin si Joao Constancia na magkakabalikan sila ni Sue Ramirez matapos makipag-break sa kanya ang Kapamilya actress.
Tumagal ng dalawang taon ang kanilang relasyon, at inamin ni Sue ang hiwalayan nila noong Agosto 2019.
“I don't wanna say I'm giving up, but I'm still hoping.
"I believe that there's still a chance in the future,” sabi ni Joao nang makapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa set ng ASAP Natin ‘To noong Enero 19, Linggo.
Patuloy niya, “I believe what we had was something really special.
"For me, it changed how I see relationships, how I see the future, how I see marriage and everything else.”
May komunikasyon pa rin daw sila ni Sue.
“Kinukumusta namin ang isa't isa, paminsan-minsan lang. Yun lang.”
Nandoon pa rin palagi ang pag-aalala ni Joao sa kalagayan ng ex-girlfriend.
“Kailangan, of course I understand that, but at the same time, you worry about the other person who is really special to you.
“Alam ko na minsan, kailangan to stay away, pero you still want to at least make sure that both of you are fine lang."
Paano kung magkaroon na ng bagong boyfriend si Sue?
Tugon ni Joao, “There's nothing I can do about it. All I can do is to accept and move on.
"I'm okay, I guess I’m still healing but I'm okay naman."

Inaasam din ni Joao na mas maganda ang showbiz career niya this year, lalo pa’t kasama siya sa digital series ng iWant na He’s Into Her.

"Kahit kaming mga cast and crew, we're excited to show them what's gonna come out for He's Into Her,” sabi pa ni Joao, na gumanap bilang kapatid ni Bea Alonzo sa pelikulang Unbreakable.
