The Taiwanese actor became viral recently for the trailer of his new Chinese series titled Count Your Lucky Stars.
GMA-7 actress Maine Mendoza was among the Filipinos who expressed their admiration for the former F4 member.
Maine shared the trailer on her Twitter account and wrote: "Jerry Yaaaaan nanunumbalik pagmamahal ko sayo."
In Count Your Lucky Stars, Jerry is paired with Shen Yue, the new Shan Cai in the Meteor Garden remake aired in 2018.
The new Chinese series Count Your Lucky Stars tells the story of a lucky editor-in-chief and a newbie designer who happens to have the worst luck. When they kiss, their luck is reversed.
Jerry is best known for playing Dao Ming Si in the Taiwanese dramas Meteor Garden and Meteor Garden 2.
The 42-year-old Jerry was dubbed as a "vampire" for his ageless look.
Fans praised the actor for his chemisty with the 22-year-old actress Shen Yue.
