Idol Philippines creative manager Stiffany "TP" Adanza reacted to the comments of viewers regarding the live rounds of the ABS-CBN reality show.
The new stage, which was constructed at the ABS-CBN Soundstage in Bulacan, was first shown during the first live rounds last Saturday, June 29.
Some viewers criticized the stage, saying that they were expecting it to be similar to the stage of American Idol.
American Idol is one of the successful Idol franchises owned by Fremantle, which is now on its 18th season.
During the June 29 broadcast, Adanza used her Twitter account to answer comments of netizens about the Idol Philippines stage.
She wrote, "Relax, hindi stage ang kakanta, at di rin ito sayawan o group singing so wag maghanap ng malaking stage #IdolPHLive
"Dami dami nyo hanash bakit di nyo kausapin fremantle #IdolPHLive
"Idol nga kasi to, kung boses lang ibang show yun. Para to sa mga memang dunung dunungan #IdolPHLive"
Adanza also mentioned that a Fremantle consultant, who also directs Britain's Got Talent and X Factor UK, was present during the live show and was happy with Idol Philippines's production values.
She said, "Nandito yung director ng x factor uk and britains got talent sa studio (fremantle consultant) Happy siya sa production value, bakit kayong kapwa pilipino hindi? #IdolPHLive"
"Hahahaha god bless you all believers, supporters and most especially non-believers, bashers, trolls. Yakap ng mahigpit. #IdolPHLive"
