Jake Cuenca sports a short hairstyle again after many years of having long hair.
He made this move as he joins the ongoing ABS-CBN early prime-time series The Blood Sisters, starring Erich Gonzales.
On Instagram last Saturday, May 5, the actor posted his photo showing his short hair.
He wrote in the caption, "Not a throw back. I hear my new leading lady prefers short hair so it had to go.
"proud to announce that I am now a part of the main cast of #thebloodsisters #tbs catch me before tv patrol every week nights."
Last week, teasers have been airing about a new male character named Rocco who will be seen in The Blood Sisters.
The teaser aired last May 4 revealed that Jake is cast as the Rocco character, and is expected to have a love affair with one of Erich's triplet characters: Erika, Carrie, or Agatha.
The last series where Jake had a short hairstyle was the 2013 Filipino adaptation of Maria Mercedes, starring Jessy Mendiola.
Since then, Jake sported a long hairstyle in the shows Ikaw Lamang (2014), Pasion De Amor (2015), FPJ's Ang Probinsyano (2016), and Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin (2017).
