KZ Tandingan is set to perform "Anak" when she returns to Singer 2018.
She will sing the Mandarin version of Freddie Aguilar's '70s classic for the breakout round.
It was announced on the Facebook page of the Filipina singer that she will be returning to the televised singing competition of China.
Photos of KZ's rehearsals were posted with the following description:
"She is back and will proudly sing an OPM song in global stage — Anak by Freddie Aguilar (Mandarin Version)
"Are you ready for the breakout round?! #LabanKZ #Rehearsals #PinoyRepresent"
KZ has been vocal in saying that she wants to sing the Mandarin version of "Anak."
In March, KZ was eliminated from Singer 2018 after performing the song “Royals” popularized by Lorde.
However, she was informed that she still had a chance to return to the show via the "Come-back round" (now called breakout round).
