Friends and celebrities showed support for Pia Wurtzbach and Gerald Anderson's first movie team-up, My Perfect You.
A red carpet screening was held yesterday, March 13, at the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater.
Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber were among the celebrities who watched the screening of the film, which will be shown starting today, March 14, in cinemas.

Pia Wurtzbach and Gerald Anderson were all smiles during the red-carpet screening of My Perfect You held at the ABS-CBN compound yesterday, March 13.
During their press conference held last March 10, director Cathy Garcia-Molina compared Gerald to John Lloyd Cruz who is still in indefinite leave.
She recalled that while shooting one of the scenes for the finale of the film: "Habang nanonood ako, nakita ko si John Lloyd."I don't know if it's a good thing but it's a sincere performance that I only get from a John Lloyd Cruz.
"To me, it means I saw a sincere performance."

Their rom-com movie opens in cinemas today, March 14. During the press conference, Direk Cathy also commended Gerald for giving his best effort to this project.
"I admire him for allowing me na tapakan ang ego niya at rendahan.
"May isang sequence, sabi ko, ‘Uy! Pogi ka na dun!’ Partida, gulo-gulo pa yung buhok niya. May isang part sa movie na maikli na buhok niya. I'm so scared na baka I might not see [his character] Burn anymore, I might see Gerald and I don't want to see Gerald talaga."
Direk Cathy raised her finger as she recreated the way she scolded the Kapamilya actor.
"Finally, kinunan namin, sabi ko, 'P*t*ng*na ka, pag ako nakita ko..."
The director was reminded about the livestreaming video and she continued, "Sabi ko, pag ako nakita ko si Gerald Anderson, lagot ka sa akin!

GMA-7 actor Edgar Allan Guzman showed support for his friend Gerald. In the 2017 Metro Manila Film Fest entry Deadma Walking, Gerald played the love interest of Joross Gamboa's character. Edgar was cast as the best friend of Joross.
