Did you know that before becoming a love team, McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson already worked together in a TV show?
McLisse, whose love team was formed in Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 in 2015, already shared a few scenes together in the defunct top-rating daytime series Be Careful With My Heart, starring Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap.
However, at that time, the characters of McCoy abd Elisse were not yet a love team nor were they related to each other.
McCoy played the campus "crush ng bayan" Inigo while Elisse was cast as the friend of Angge, played by Alyana Asistio.

In YES! Magazine's January 2018 issue, it was mentioned that both McCoy and Elisse were part of the long-running morning series.
However, they took different paths before joining the show.
Elisse tried her luck in showbiz by auditioning for ABS-CBN's talent arm, Star Magic, in 2011. She landed a bit role in the series in 2013.
In 2012, McCoy was able to cross over to television through his friend Marlo Mortel, who was already part of Be Careful With My Heart.
McCoy recalled, "Kailangan daw nila ng isang talent na theater actor na for one scene lang.
"Ayun, sinuggest niya ako. Grinab ko naman."
McCoy was cast as Inigo Cabanatan, the campus "crush ng bayan" who later developed feelings for Nikki.
He continued, "Triny ko lang sa TV 'yong ginagawa ko sa theater, ipinakita ko lang sa TV.
"Hanggang, ayun, nagustuhan daw po ng management na i-try ako. Nagkaro'n ako ng ibang tapings. Inabsorb na po ako ng Star Magic during Be Careful With My Heart."

In 2014, McCoy (middle) was one of the performers during the Be Careful With My Heart second anniversary concert, along with Arvic James Tan (left) and AJ Muhlach (right).
Soon, McCoy had other TV appearances, such as portraying the young Richard Yap in the afternoon series Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita in 2015 and the late afternoon series We Will Survive in 2016.
In the middle of 2015, McCoy became part of the all-male dance group Hashtags, which served as the launching pad for actors Ronnie Alonte, Jon Lucas, and Jameson Blake.
During this time, Elisse also appeared in various TV shows and movies such as Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon (2014), She's Dating The Gangster (2014), and Saranghaeyo #Ewankosau (2015).
In July 2016, McCoy and Elisse crossed paths again when they became part of Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 and eventually became a love team.
Now known as McLisse, they are currently part of the Kapamilya prime-time series The Good Son and the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 entry Ang Panday. They are also set to top-bill a movie this 2018.
