Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga's reunion movie Last Night has earned P60 million as of October 5, 2017.
This is according to an Instagram post yesterday of Star Cinema, the film's producer, seven days after the movie premiered on September 27.
It was also the first time that the film arm of ABS-CBN has disclosed the official box-office gross of the movie.
Directed by Joyce Bernal and written by actress Bela Padilla, Last Night is about Mark (Piolo Pascual), a man with financial problems who resorts to suicide in order to escape.
While trying to take his life at Jones Bridge in Escolta, he meets Carmina (Toni Gonzaga), a woman also planning to end her life.
The two then decide to spend their "last night" together.
The movie has been graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board, and was given a R-13 rating by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board.
Last Night also serves as a reunion movie for Piolo and Toni after starring in the 2014 hit film Starting Over Again. According to Star Cinema, Starting Over Again reached the P400 million mark at the Philippine box office.
