Sharon Cuneta's first Cinemalaya movie Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha had its premiere night yesterday, August 8, at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Friends and family members of the Megastar were present to support her first indie film.
Sharon was proud to say in her speech that finally, she is already an independent film actress.
Amid rumors of marital problems, Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan showed support for his wife by attending the gala screening.
The movie is directed by Mes De Guzman, and will be shown until August 13 at the CCP and in Ayala Malls cinemas namely Greenbelt 1, Glorietta 4, UP Town Center, TriNoma, Fairview Terraces, and Marquee Mall in Pampanga.

When Sharon came out of the CCP stage, she immediately received screams and a warm round of applause from her fans called as Sharonians.
In her speech, she admitted, "First time ko pong manunuod ng sine dito [sa CCP], usually po, concerts ang ginagawa namin dito."
Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha is the first Cinemalaya film of Sharon in her 40 years in show business.
She proudly said, "Finally, masasabi kong indie film actress na ako."

In her speech, the Megastar wished that the movie lasted longer than 90 minutes.
She then revealed, "Nagkasakit po ang Direk ko, si Direk Mes [De Guzman] ko, dahil sabi po ni Ate Rhea ang kanyang maybahay at producer namin, hirap na hirap po siya ng eksenang puputulin, dahil po, hindi na po ako magpapaliguy-ligoy pa, maganda po yung pelikula namin."
Her statement drew screams from the audience.

La Luna Sangre actor Ahron Villena, who was embroiled in different controversies recently, attended the event to support his friend, Kiko Matos.
Ahron and Kiko were batchmates in Magandang Tanghali Bayan's male reality-competition segment "TV Idol: Ur D' Man."
