Matinee idol Aga Muhlach makes his movie comeback after five years via Star Cinema's upcoming family drama Seven Sundays.
He will be joined by Cristine Reyes, Enrique Gil, Ronaldo Valdez, and GMA-7 actor Dingdong Dantes.
A story conference was held for this upcoming movie today, June 27.
Seven Sundays is Aga's first movie with Star Cinema after six years. His last Star Cinema film is the 2011 romantic drama In The Name of Love with Angel Locsin.
On the other hand, Aga's last movie was the romantic-comedy Of All The Things produced by VIVA Films.
This movie will also serve as Enrique's project without his love team partner Liza Soberano, who has been chosen to play the iconic role of Darna.
In an Instagram post by Star Cinema, Enrique was quoted saying: "First time ko gumawa ng family movie. Sanay kasi ako na laging love team so...I want to do something different."
Seven Sundays is also the sixth Star Cinema project of Dingdong, who is currently a contract artist of the Kapuso network.
The project also serves as a reunion for Dingdong and Cristine, who were able to work together in GMA-7's adaptation of MariMar in 2007.
This upcoming movie will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, who is currently directing the Kapamilya primetime series La Luna Sangre.
