ABS-CBN's all-male singing group BoybandPH—composed of Ford Valencia, Joao Constancia, Niel Murillo, Russell Reyes, and Tristan Ramirez—received praise for their cover of Depeche Mode's 1984 single "Someday."

Depeche Mode is an English electronic band founded by Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, and Andy Fletcher in 1980 at Basildon, Essex.

The song was included in Boyband PH's self-titled debut album. It was released as an official single after "We Made It" and "Unli."

In a Twitter post, former 2NE1 member and Boyband PH coach Sandara Park expressed how proud she is of the band's new milestone.

She wrote, "Ang gwapo niyo!!! Nice video!!! Proud ako sa inyo!!! missing my boys..."

The Voice Philippines coach and Tony award-winning actress Lea Salonga also praised the boyband's cover of the song.

She wrote, "Good job on the cover of Depeche Mode's "Somebody." Congrats, @BoybandPH!"
