ABS-CBN actress Jodi Sta. Maria and the primetime series Bridges of Love bagged nominations in the 2016 International Emmy Awards.
Jodi is nominated as Best Actress for her performance in the defunct 2015 remake of Pangako Sa 'Yo, wherein she reprised the role of Amor Powers, originally played by Eula Valdes.
She will be competing against three other nominees: Judi Dench (Roald Dahl's Esio Trot, UK), Grazi Massafera (Verdades Secretas, Brazil), and Christiane Paul (Unterm Radar, Germany).
The 2015 Kapamilya series Bridges of Love, which aired from March – August 2015, also received a nomination in the Telenovela category.
Starring Maja Salvador, Jericho Rosales, and Paulo Avelino, the series is just one of the nominees alongside other entries from Brazil and Canada.
The winners will be announced on November 21 at the Hilton New York Hotel.
