Coco Martin and Angel Locsin were both spotted at the Cultural Center of the Philippines last night, August 6, to show support for different Cinemalaya 2016 entries.
Coco entered the CCP before 6 pm for the gala premiere of the Cinemalaya entry Pamilya Ordinaryo that is topbilled by his younger brother Ronwaldo Martin. In the film, Ron played a street urchin who steals in order to support his partner and their child. However, they become distraught when a stranger suddenly abducts their 30-day-old baby Arjan.
Angel was accompanied by Nino Barbers at the 9 pm gala screening of I America, which is topbilled by Bela Padilla. In this dramedy, Bela is cast as a daughter of a prostitute and an American soldier. She is trying to fix her papers so she can finally fulfill her dream of reaching America.
