Actresses Coleen Garcia, Jessy Mendiola, and Arci Munoz will showcase their beauty and sexy bodies in Star Cinema’s new movie Extra Service.
The story conference for this new movie was held yesterday, July 17.
This upcoming film will be helmed by Chris Martinez, the director behind comedy movies featuring female central characters such as The Gifted, Temptation Island, and Here Comes The Bride.
Direk Chris also wrote popular screenplays such as Kimmy Dora and the 2011 Cinemalaya entry Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank, which won Best Picture in the said film festival.
Extra Service serves as a reunion project for Arci and Coleen, who were among the lead stars of the sexy-themed show, Pasion de Amor. ABS-CBN's now defunct series aired ran from June 2015 to March 2016.
Extra Service is also Coleen’s second movie this year. The first was Love Me Tomorrow starring Piolo Pascual and Dawn Zulueta.
The is her first movie not helmed by Gino Santos, who directed Coleen’s first three movies #Y, Ex with Benefits, and Love Me Tomorrow.
In a previous interview, Direk Gino said that he is excited for Coleen to work in a production outside his helm.
He said, "Sabi ko [sa kanya], 'Naku, hindi na ako yung director mo, baka mapagalitan ka na!' Pero I was just joking about that.
"But I told her, she should really work with other people, other directors, writers, cinematographers.
"Kasi [there are] so many talented people here in the industry tapos huwag lang i-box yung sarili natin para hindi pare-pareho.
"It's a good opportunity for you. I will definitely watch out and support you hundred percent of the way."
On the other hand, this film also serves as Jessy’s comeback on the big screen. Her last movie was the 2014 court drama The Trial, starring John Lloyd Cruz and Gretchen Barretto.
Arci's other movie, Camp Sawi, also features a group of girls as main characters.
