TThe indie film Hamog (English title: Haze), starring Zaijian Jaranilla and Therese "Teri" Malvar, won the Outstanding Artistic Achievement award at the 2016 Shanghai International Film Festival.
This is according to Cinema One channel head Ronald Arguelles who posted the information on his Facebook account last night, June 19.
Teri and Hamog director Ralston Jover accepted their trophy during the awards night held in China.
The film, which was the Special Jury Prize awardee at the 2015 Cinema One Originals film fest, also stars Sam Quintana, Bon Andrew Lentejas, Anna J. Luna, OJ Mariano, and Lou Veloso.
Hamog is also a finalist in the upcoming 8th Moscow International Film Festival in Russia, which will run from June 23 to 30.
It can be remembered that Teri was honored in the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) as one of the recipients of the Screen International Rising Star Asia Awards for the same film.
