Brillante Mendoza's movie Taklub earned another international recognition in France.
The Filipino film bagged the Le Prix Chandrika Charma award at the 8th International Film Festival Pêcheurs du Monde (International Film Festival of Fishermen of the World) held at Lorient, France.
The movie about survivors of supertyphoon "Yolanda" was screened last March 19 at Lorient.
According to Inquirer, the Nora Aunor-starrer was described "beautiful" by the film fest's website while Direk Dante was called "the leader of Philippine Cinema."
