Claudine Barretto is finally making a television comeback via TV5's soap Bakit Manipis Ang Ulap?
A co-venture of VIVA Television and TV5, it is a modern retelling of Danny Zialcita's 1985 movie starring Chanda Romero, Janice de Belen, Tommy Abuel, and Laurice Guillen.
A special screening of the pilot episode was held last Wednesday, February 10, at Cinema 2 of SM Aura.
Claudine graced this advanced screening along with co-stars Meg Imperial, Dindi Gallardo, Samantha Lopez, Issa Pressman, Janelle Jamer, and Bret Jackson.
The soap's director Joel Lamangan as well as TV5 and VIVA Entertainment's bosses were also present at the screening.
The soap, which is also topbilled by Cesar Montano, Diether Ocampo, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Bernard Palanca, premieres tonight, February 15, at 9 p.m. on TV5.
