Before Cristine Reyes ties the knot with real-life partner Ali Khatibi by the end of this month, she wore a wedding gown for a key scene in Tubig at Langis.
This scene will be seen in February, as ABS-CBN premieres its new afternoon offering Tubig at Langis, which pairs Cristine with Zanjoe Marudo.
In this soap opera directed by FM Reyes, Cristine plays Irene, a single mother who will fall in love with Natoy (Zanjoe). However, conflicts arise when Natoy's family express their disapproval for Irene.
To make matters worse, Irene will have a hard time bearing a child with Natoy. Natoy then finds solace with Clara (Isabelle Daza), who becomes pregnant with Natoy's child.
