Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer are officially divorced, nearly a decade after they ended their relationship.
According to reports, Tobey and Jennifer were listed as single on September 21, 2026, after the court officially terminated their marriage.
The couple had been separated since 2016, but legal proceedings to dissolve their marriage began years later, after Jennifer filed for divorce in October 2020.
Tobey filed his response in July 2025.
Although the divorce has been finalized, Tobey and Jennifer still need to resolve certain issues through a private judge.

HOW TOBEY AND JENNIFER MET
The Spider-Man actor first met Jennifer in 2003 on the set of Seabiscuit at Universal Studios.
At the time, Jennifer’s father, Ron Meyer, was serving as Universal Studios’ president and chief operating officer, a position he held until 2013.
Tobey and Jennifer got engaged in April 2006.
On November 10, 2006, Jennifer gave birth to their daughter, Ruby Sweetheart Maguire.
The couple got married in Kona, Hawaii, on September 3, 2007.
Tobey and Jennifer welcomed their son, Otis Maguire, on May 8, 2009.
On October 18, 2016, the two publicly announced their separation with a joint statement.
"After much soul-searching and consideration, we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” their statement reads.
“As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect, and friendship."
TOBEY AND JENNIFER: STILL FRIENDS
Jennifer is now engaged to music executive Geoffrey Ogunlesi, whom she was first publicly linked to in 2023. The couple welcomed their daughter in June 2026.
Tobey, meanwhile, has kept his romantic life private since separating from Jennifer.
According to reports and sources close to the former couple, Tobey and Jennifer have remained friends while co-parenting their two children.
In a May 2026 interview with People, Jennifer said that her fiancé, Geoffrey, and Tobey get along well. “Geoff loves [Tobey], and he loves Geoff. And so everything just works,” she shared.
