Pormal nang itinalaga ang first runner-up ng Miss Grand USA 2026 na si Victoria Oluwakotanmi ng Indiana bilang bagong Miss Grand USA 2026.
Ito ay matapos ma-dethrone ang nagwaging si Mekayla Li ng Massachusetts isang linggo matapos ang grand coronation ng pageant.
Sa official Instagram page ng Miss Grand USA Organization ngayong Biyernes, August 21, 2026, iprinoklama nang titleholder si Victoria.
Narito ang buong announcement ng organisasyon:

"Victoria now steps forward to carry the crown, represent the United States, and begin an extraordinary new chapter with the Miss Grand USA organization.

Pakiusap nila, magkaroon ng crowning moment para sa beauty queen.

Tinanggalan ng korona at titulo ng Miss Grand USA Organization ang nagwaging si Mekayla dahil sa ilang mga isyung diumano'y natuklasan nila.
Ngunit hindi nila ito idinetalye sa kanilang pahayag.
Pero ayon sa ilang pageant sites, dati daw may asawa si Mekayla at na-divorce na ito.
Mahigpit na patakaran ng Miss Grand International na bawal may asawa sa pageant.
May kinakaharap din daw itong isang civil case sa Amerika.
