Ayon sa inilabas nilang pahayag, dahil sa private-life issue ni Ju Haknyeon kaya sila humantong sa desisyong tanggalin ito sa grupo.
Bagamat hindi binanggit ng ahensya kung anong isyu ito, nagsagawa sila ng masusing imbestigasyon kung may katotohanan ang mga alegasyon laban kay Ju Haknyeon.

"We would like to inform you that, as of today, Ju Haknyeon will cease all activities as a member of THE BOYZ.
"ONE HUNDRED will do our utmost to support the remaining members of THE BOYZ so that they can continue their activities in a stable and healthy environment.
"Once again, we sincerely apologize for causing concern to the fans, and we will do our best to repay your support with better news and activities in the future."
Ju Haknyeon faces allegations of prostitution
Bago pa man maglabas ng pahayag ang One Hundred, nauna nang iniulat ng iba't ibang news outlets sa South Korea ang diumano'y pagkakasangkot ni Ju Haknyeon sa prostitution.
Ito'y matapos siyang maispatang nakipagkita sa dating Japanese adult star na si Asuka Kirara sa Tokyo, Japan, noong May 2025.
Ilan sa mga ulat ang nagsasabing nagbayad umano si Ju Haknyeon para sa serbisyong sekswal na may kinalaman sa Japanese actress.

Nitong gabi ng Miyerkules, June 18, isang handwritten apology letter ang ipinost ni Ju Haknyeon kung saan humingi siya ng tawad sa kanyang mga tagahanga.
Kalakip nito ang pagtanggi niya sa mga kumakalat na impormasyon sa pakikipagkita kay Asuka Kirara.
Ayon kay Ju Haknyeon, totoong nagkita sila ni Asuka Kirara kasama ang ilan pa nilang kaibigan noong May 30.

"In the wee hours of the morning of May 30, 2025, I attended a private gathering with alcohol together with an acquaintance, and while it is true that I was at that gathering, it is completely false that I engaged in any illegal activity, such as the prostitution that is being mentioned in news reports and rumors.
"I am deeply reflecting on my actions, and I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone who was shocked by this [matter]."
WHO IS JU HAKNYEON?
Unang nakilala si Ju Haknyeon ng maging contestant siya sa second season ng K-pop survival show na Produce 101 noong 2017.
Napasama siya sa finale ngunit bigo siyang makaabante sa Top 11 at mapasama sa winning group na Wanna One.
Bagamat nabigong mapasama sa K-pop boy group na Wanna One, nag-debut sila bilang K-pop idol sa grupong The Boyz.
