Nagluluksa ang industriya ng musika sa buong mundo dahil sa pagpanaw ng Queen of Rock and Roll na si Tina Turner.
Pumanaw si Tina sa kanyang tahanan sa Küsnach, malapit sa Zurich, Switzerland, nitong Miyerkules, May 24, 2023.
Siya ay 83.
Kinumpirma ni Bernard Doherty, ang publicist ni Tina, ang mapayapang pagpanaw ng legendary singer.
Nakalagay naman sa opisyal na Instagram account ni Tina ang pahayag tungkol sa kanyang pagpanaw:
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner.
"With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow.
"Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music.
"All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family.
"Tina, we will miss you dearly."
Binawian ng buhay si Tina dahil sa kanyang matagal nang karamdaman. Nagkaroon siya ng stroke, na-diagnose na may intestinal cancer, at sumailalim sa kidney transplant noong 2017.
Ang asawa ni Tina, ang German former music executive na si Erwin Bach, ang kidney donor ng singer.
Isang pribadong funeral ceremony na dadaluhan lamang ng pamilya at malalapit na kaibigan ni Tina ang pinaplano kaya hinihiling ni Doherty na igalang ang pagluluksa ng mga naulila ng legendary singer.
MUSIC LEGENDS MOURN DEATH OF TINA TURNER
Ang mga music icon na sina Diana Ross, Mick Jagger, at Rod Stewart ang mga nanguna sa pakikiramay sa mga naulila ni Tina.

Isang mahabang pamamaalam naman kay Tina ang isinulat ni Angela Bassett, ang gumanap na Tina sa 1993 musical drama na What’s Love Got To Do With It.

Tumagal ng anim na dekada ang karera sa pag-awit ni Tina Turner.
Maraming beses siyang nanalo ng Grammy Awards dahil sa kanyang mga kanta. Kasali rin si Tina sa listahan ng Grammy Hall of Fame.
Ang "Proud Mary," "Simply The Best," "Private Dancer," "What’s Love Got To Do With It," at "We Don’t Need Another Hero" ang ilan sa mga sikat na kanta at hindi malilimutang kontribusyon ni Tina sa mundo ng musika.
Isinilang si Tina sa Brownsville, Tennesse, USA, noong November 26, 1939.
Anna Mae Bullock ang tunay na pangalan ni Tina.
Ang kanyang ex-husband, ang American musician, record producer, at band leader na si Ike Turner ang nagbigay ng screen name niyang Tina Turner.
Pinili ni Ike ang pangalan na Tina dahil katunog ito ng pangalan ni Sheena, ang Queen of the Jungle.
Idinagdag ni Ike sa stage name ni Tina ang kanyang apelyido bilang proteksiyon niya sa mga personal na interes. Ipina-patent ni Ike ang pangalan na Tina Turner para siya pa rin ang nagmamay-ari kay Tina kung sakaling iwanan siya nito o makipaghiwalay sa kanya.
Tumagal ng labing-anim na taon (1960-1976) ang relasyon at pagsasama nina Tina at Ike.
Si Tina ang nagdesisyong hiwalayan si Ike dahil bukod sa irreconcilable differences, biktima siya ng domestic violence.
"Ike was a violent person and at that point, he was on drugs, very insecure and I had no money. I had no place to go but I just took a chance.I said the way out is through the door.
“He kept everything [money]. He always says when you leave, you will leave like you came," pahayag ni Tina sa isang television interview tungkol sa mga pagmamaltrato noon ni Ike sa kanya.
Pinakasalan naman niya si Erwin Bach noong 2013, pero nag-umpisa ang kanilang relasyon noong pang 1986.
