"I've embraced my role or where I am in the business. I just want to continuously performing and making a difference in people's lives," says Concert King Martin Nievera about his celebrity status.

Pahayag ng Concert King, “Obviously, I'm not the in-demand artist I used to be, but I'm okay with that.

“I've embraced the fact that I am no longer the guy.

“When ABS restarted, I was the guy. When ASAP started, I was the guy. When TFC started, I was the guy.

“Marami na kaming guys ngayon and ang daming girls.

Saad ni Martin, “I just embraced it.

“I've embraced my role or where I am in the business.

“I just want to continuously performing and making a difference in people's lives.”

“It sounds like a showbiz answer.

“But truthfully, that's my new game plan—to stay in the game and not watch it from outside looking in. I wanna be inside looking out.”

NEGATIVE WRITE-UP.

Mensahe niya, “My birthday wish is for you to always have something to write about—all positive, never negative.

“That you would change the world with your pens, your blogging, and your computers or laptop.

“I'm always asked what's my birthday wish. I wanna wish something I can give, not something that I can take.

“So, my birthday wish is that you all stay blessed and employed.”

“With social media, we can answer back immediately.

“Of course, the management and ABS-CBN encourage us not to fight on social media.

“I don't want to fight. But if I've offended anyone...

“In other words, I want to really deserve the bad write-up.

“If I cannot by way of explaining or at least explaining my side, if it doesn't work, at least I tried.

“Yun palagi ang stand ko.

“Kung nagkamali ako, or someone doesn't like my performance, I said something against my fellow artist, whatever the crime was...

“If I cannot explain myself, I would probably apologize.”

“It's always been bad when I was 19 years old, when I started in the business, palagi akong offended.

“I just want to answer back and I never know how.

“Now we know how, we have social media, immediate na ang response.

“Pero we're just humans, we're trying to do...

“We love what we do, we love the comment of the people.

“But we also are human beings, so may feelings din kami.”
