Maine Mendoza was officially hailed as the most tweeted Filipino celebrity on the microblogging site Twitter.
According to Twitter Philippines, the 22-year-old Kapuso Dubsmash Queen ranked fifth in the most tweeted celebrities in the world.
But she is the only Filipino celebrity who made the cut in the Top 10 most tweeted celebrity list of Twitter.
Other stars who were named in the list were K-pop all-male boy bands Bangtan Boys (BTS) and Seventeen, as well as international singers Justin Bieber and Niall Horan, to name a few.

The phenomenal teamup of Maine and Alden Richards, also known as AlDub, also topped Twitter's most tweeted love team category.
AlDub defeated four Kapamilya love teams who made it to the Top 5 list, namely: Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (KathNiel), James Reid and Nadine Lustre (JaDine), Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil (LizQuen), and Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber (MayWard).
