Megan Young saddened by Laura Lehmann's non-inclusion in Miss World 2017 Top 15.

Aminado si Megan Young na dismayado siya dahil hindi man lang nakapasok ang Philippine representative na si Laura Lehmann sa Top 15 ng katatapos lamang na Miss World 2017 pageant ngayong weekend.

Ang kinatawan mula sa India na si Manushi Chhillar ang idineklarang Miss World ngayong taon.

Si Megan ay dating Miss World (2013) at nagsilbing isa sa mga hosts ng pageant na ginanap sa Sanya, China, kahapon, Sabado, November 18.

“Not being able to read your name was the toughest because I really wanted and prayed for this moment for you!

“I can't help but think about last night. I was upset but as they say, the show must go on,” bahagi ng post ni Megan ngayong Linggo ng umaga, November 19.

Sa kabila nito, sinabi ni 27-anyos na beauty queen-actress na para sa kanya ay panalo na si Laura dahil sa kanyang adhikain na makatulong sa mga ina at mga sanggol sa isang ospital sa Maynila.

Kabilang si Laura sa five finalists sa Beauty With A Purpose segment, at ang kanyang five-year advocacy ay isang milk bank para sa pediatric ward ng Jose R. Reyes Memorial Center sa Sta. Cruz, Manila

“I knew you were a winner n the hearts of many parents and children of Jose Reyes Memorial hospital.

“At your age, being able to provide a hospital with a MILK BANK is a WIN already. You have SAVED and CHANGED lives.

“I am so proud of you and your strength and positivity. Thank you for shining a bright light on the people around you, Lau. I am so proud to be your friend and sister. “

As we board our flight back to Manila, I can't help but think about last night. Not being able to read your name was the toughest because I really wanted and prayed for this moment for you! I was upset but as they say, the show must go on. I went back to my room and realized that even though it may not have been the winning outcome I had hoped for you, I knew you were a winner in the hearts of many parents and children of Jose Reyes Memorial hospital. At your age, being able to provide a hospital with a MILK BANK is a WIN already. You have SAVED and CHANGED lives. I am so proud of you and your strength and positivity. Thank you for shining a bright light on the people around you, Lau ? I am so proud to be your friend and sister. Thank you for inspiring me. Always. Love you, Lau! ????

STILL POSITIVE. Samantala, nananatiling positibo si Laura kahit na hindi siya nakaabot sa Top 15.

I was SO happy to be wearing your sash last night. :) I felt so proud showing the world that I come from the land known for its people - their laughter, smile, spirit & warmth no matter where in the world they are.
